Chakra is Sanskrit (oldest writing language) for “wheel” or “vortex”. Our bodies are comprised by seven major chakras, energy centers, that house the life force that we are. Scientists have measured their existence and found that the electromagnetic emanations can be detected as far as 26 feet from the physical body. Even though chakras are not physical, they are experienced in the physical bodies. An imbalanced chakra will show up in the body as physical, mental or emotional challenges. Chakras may be used as portals to healing, prosperity and happiness.
The seventh chakra is called the Crown chakra and it is located on top of the head. The color associated with the Crown chakra is white.
The Crown chakra governs the pituitary gland, the skin (the largest organ in the body) and muscular system, the DNA and RNA.
On the emotional level the Crown Chakra rules inspiration, consciousness, and spiritual understanding. Free will and altruism.
When the Crown chakra is out of balance it manifests as depression and anxiety, epilepsy, ADD, dementia, and chronic fatigue syndrome. Additionally, as disassociation, apathy and lack of purpose.
Some ways that are beneficial are:
Prayer and meditation, silence and stillness, mantra chanting, Tapping (Emotional Freedom Technique), and connecting with the Divine.
Some essentials oils are frankincense, rosewood, and lavender.
Some crystals are diamonds, clear quartz and selenite.
Fasting is best and oxygen, light foods and drinks.
Affirmation: I am always connected with the Divine.
This is just a brief introduction to the seven major chakras and there is so much more in understanding and healing ourselves through the chakras. Contacting a Holistic Health Practitioner and using Energy healing are powerful and effective ways in healing our body, mind and spirit.
